eukaryotic

A single-celled or multicellular organism possessing cells containing a membrane-bound nucleus.

chlorophyta
Division of mostly freshwater eukaryotic algae, informally referred to as chlorophytes and containing the true green algae and stoneworts under modern systems of classification. Like higher plants members possess chlorophylls a and b and store food as starch.
fungi
Kingdom of eukaryotic microorganisms lacking chlorophyll and vascular tissue and possessing chitinous cell walls. Highly variable in form and includes all yeasts, molds, and mushrooms.
membrane
Thin, usually flexible layer of tissue covering, lining, separating, or connecting cells or parts of an organism.
protozoan
Any member of a diverse group of unicellular eukaryotic organisms including amoebas, ciliates, flagellates, and sporozoans. Also spelled protozoon.
Rhodophyta
Division of eukaryotic algae containing thousands of species, most of which are multicellular and inhabit marine environments, e.g., many seaweeds.
