Etymology
Aphyosemion: from the Greek aphúe (Gr. ἀφύη), meaning ‘a small fish’, and semeion (Gr. σημεῖον), meaning ‘banner, flag’, in reference to the “ornamented, often lyre-shaped” caudal fin in male individuals of genus members.
loennbergii: named for Swedish zoologist Einar Lönnberg (1865-1942), “author of several contributions to the fish-fauna of Cameroon”.

Distribution
Described from the ‘Kribi’, now known as Kienké, river, southwestern Cameroon and has a wider distribution in the region, occurring in the Lokundje and Nyong drainages.

This picture is not Chrom. loennbergii but a Chrom. koungueense 😉

A very easy tip:
loennbergii: anal with red spots
koungueense: anal without red spots
